Mold Releases

Frekote® brand Release Agents are preferred by more advanced composite molders than all other brands combined. Aircraft Component manufacturers value the non-transferring properties of Frekote® semi-permanent formulations. Other manufacturers rely on Frekote's® superior multiple release performance. Frekote® semi-permanent release agents are non-silicone materials which bond to tooling surfaces. They do not migrate or contaminate parts, machines or the work environment.

Frekote 44-NC

Provides molders with no release agent transfer (when applied as directed). The multiple release formula gives parts a matte finish.

Frekote 55-NC

Faster evaporating and lower odor version of Frekote 44-NC.

Frekote 48-NC

Should be your first choice release agent where non transference of release is important.

WOLO

A unique polymer release agent that cures quickly and provides multiple release of all polyester resins.

SOLO

Contains a unique polymer designed to release all gel-coated fiberglass reinforced and filled polyester composites.

Frekote 710-NC

Offers excellent release properties for the most demanding applications.

Frekote S-50

Specifically formulated for use with resin/asbestos products. It has proven to be extremely effective at releasing asbestos/phenolic resin mixtures molded at 150ºC to 165ºC (302°F to 329°F).

PMC

A special blend of solvents designed to dissolve and remove wax from polyester molds without dulling the surface.

Aqualine Rotolease

A unique water based release agent designed to provide multiple releases with no contaminating transfer.

Aqualine RC-321

Provides a durable release film for most rubber molding applications.

Aqualine R-120

Designed for rubber molding. When properly applied to a preheated surface, this easy to use product chemically bonds to the mold surface to form a thin, inert, thermally stable coating capable of releasing all natural and synthetic polymers including some thermoplastic urethanes.

Aqualine R-110

Designed for rubber molding. Chemically bonds to the mold surface to form a thin, chemically resistant coating capable of releasing all natural and synthetic polymers (except silicone elastomers) and thermoplastic urethanes.

Aqualine PUR-100

For releasing rigid, high-density polyurethane (PU) foam and cast polyurethane parts.

Frekote Rimlease 8

Specifically formulated for use as a release interface for RIM and R/RIM polyurethane processes.

PUR-NC

Designed to form a semi-permanent release coating on the mold surface for rigid, cast polyurethane products with application on a mold with a temperature between 20°-150°C (68°-302°F).

EFR

Formulated specifically as a semi-permanent, polymeric release agent for flange sealing.

HMT-2

Loctite® Frekote® HMT-2 is a hot mold touch up version of Frekote 55-NC

and is formulated for use on molds with temperatures above 60°C (140°F).

Aqualine R-100

Designed for application to mold surfaces preheated to between 60°C (140°F) and 182°C (360°F).
