Description

CAPRAN® 512 is a clear (moderate haze level), heat-stabilized blown film produced from a modified nylon-6 resin. It is available up to 240-inches wide, 40 to 120 inches lay-flat tubing and 40-120 inches as v-sheeting. Standard thickness is .002 and .003 inches.

Application

Blown film is recommended as a bagging film for advanced composite fabrication and other high-temperature / pressure applications where softness, workability, pinhole-free and defect-free films are essential.

CAPRAN® 512 can be used at temperatures up to 400oF (205oC) for typical composite cure cycle times.
