Description

RC-3000-B is a high temperature/high pressure polyester, non-woven felt. RC 3000-B is available in 10, 13 and 20 oz./yd² for withstanding temperatures up to 450°F (232°C) and pressures up to 200 PSI (13.8 bars).

Application

The high melt point of the RC 3000-B fiber allows the material to be used at operating temperatures of 350-450°F without taking the heat set experienced with the lower melt point products. This allows the RC 3000-B to have greater breathing capacity under higher operating temperatures and pressures. RC 3000-B is non-toxic, non-corrosive, nondusting and non-allergenic.
RC 3000-B is not a release fabric. When used in conjunction with uncured materials, we recommend a release film be used against the detail being cured.
