Description

ROHACELL® IG (=Industrial Grade) is a closed-cell rigid foam plastic based on PMI (polymethacrylimide) which does not contain any CFCs. ROHACELL® IG-F has the same physical properties like ROHACELL® IG but smaller cell sizes.

ROHACELL® IG is also available in a fine cell size grade (ROHACELL® IG-F)

Application

The fields of application for ROHACELL® IG and IG-F are model building, vehicle construction and shipbuilding, as well as the manufacture of sports articles and X-ray tables.

Properties

Technical Data:

Heat distortion temperature 180°C, densities from 30 to 110 kg/m³, compressive strength 0.4 to 3.0 MPa, processing up to 125°C/0.35 MPa

Physical Forms:

Sheets and blocks in thicknesses of 4 to 85 mm (other thicknesses on request), sizes up to 2.500 x 1.250 mm
